What does the change of regulations mean ?
What's changing
The government, through the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Health Education England (HEE), is introducing a national licensing system for non-surgical cosmetic treatments. This includes popular procedures such as:
- Skin Needling (Microneedling)
- Chemical Peels
- Dermaplaning
- Injectables and other advanced aesthetics
Practitioners will need to hold regulated qualifications that meet the new training and safety standards to legally offer these treatments.
